Small Victory

[03/25/2015] Today I had the pleasure to meet up with Zomato‘s Vancouver community manager, Sophia. You may or may not know this, but Zomato bought Urbanspoon and is now going through a transitional phase to fully integrate the system in Vancouver, so Sophia invited me out for coffee at Small Victory to speak to me about some of the changes. They will fully launch sometime in mid April! I’m sad to say goodbye to Urbanspoon (even though they’re not technically shutting down or anything. :P) but I’m also excited to see what Zomato has to offer. After spending an hour of chitchatting with Sophia, I learned a lot more about their system, which has some pretty cool new features too! She has such an outgoing, bubbly personality, and I really enjoyed talking to her. If you happen to be reading this Sophia, thanks for the wonderful afternoon. (:

The cafe is located in Yaletown, and was actually quite busy when I dropped by on this rainy Wednesday afternoon.

Love the modern, geometric design of the shop.
Sophia ordered a Chai Rooibos Latte, and I got just a basic Cappuccino ($3.50)

The flavour was rich and dominant.. a decent cup of capp! (4/5) There’s also something I really like about the wooden board they served the drinks on haha.

I’ll definitely try some of the treats too, next time I visit!
